This Privacy Policy explains how LumiCore Energy Limited ("LumiCore", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use the Eaglense platform (the "Service"). Eaglense is operated by LumiCore Energy Limited, a company incorporated in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
By using Eaglense you consent to the practices described here. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
Account information
- Full name, email address, password (hashed), employee identifier
- Role on the operation (worker, HSEQ, operations, maintenance, admin)
- Contractor company affiliation and site role
Operational data you submit
- Stop card observations including description, severity, hazard category, and location
- Photographs you upload to support an observation
- Corrective actions, recommendations, and close-out notes
- Person on Board (POB) lists you upload
Technical data
- IP address, device type, operating system, and browser
- Login timestamps and session events
- Pages visited within the application and feature usage
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- To deliver email and in-app notifications about stop cards and account activity
- To produce analytics, exports, and audit-ready reports for your organisation
- To improve and secure the Service, and detect abuse
- To comply with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations
- To respond to support requests and customer communications
3. Legal Basis for Processing
We rely on the following legal bases under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023: performance of a contract, our legitimate business interests, your consent (where required), and compliance with our legal obligations.
4. Data Storage and Security
Data is stored with our infrastructure provider, Supabase, on hardened cloud regions. We protect your data with TLS in transit, encryption at rest, and database row-level security so each customer organisation can only access its own records. Access is role-based and audit-logged.
5. Sharing and Disclosure
- Within your organisation, based on the role-based access controls your administrators configure
- Service providers, Supabase (database and authentication), email delivery providers, and analytics providers under appropriate contractual safeguards
- Legal requirements, where required to comply with law, regulation, or valid legal process
- Corporate transactions, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with prior notice where practicable
We do not sell personal data.
6. Data Retention
We retain customer data for as long as your account remains active and as required to comply with legal, regulatory, and operational audit needs. On termination, you may export your data for 30 days, after which we will delete it from active systems within 90 days, subject to backup rotation.
7. International Transfers
Data may be processed outside Nigeria, including in the European Union and the United States. We rely on contractual safeguards consistent with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and applicable cross-border transfer rules.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Receive a portable copy of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the legal basis
- Lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) or your local data protection authority

9. Cookies
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, queue offline stop cards, and remember your interface preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
10. Children
Eaglense is an enterprise HSE platform intended for adult workers in industrial operations. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use of Eaglense after changes constitutes acceptance.
